WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe that the chief end of man’s existence is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. Our mission, our purpose and our passion is to glorify God and to exalt Him in all that we do. We believe that every aspect of our lives whether thoughts, judgements or emotions are known to God and are subject to His infallible Word.
1. THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible is the complete Word of God. The Old and New Testaments, as originally written, were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and are entirely free from error. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and the true basis of Christian union (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21). What is not revealed or affirmed by the Bible must not be endorsed as belonging to the faith or intrinsic to salvation.
2. GOD: We believe in One, True, Holy, Living and Eternal God, existing in three equal Persons. He reveals Himself as Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – distinguishable, but inseparable, coeternal, one in nature, will and power. He is Sovereign, Unlimited in power, wisdom, kindness, justice and love, ruling with mercy for the salvation of men and for the glory of His holy name. God is the Creator, Sovereign Lord and Sustainer of all things visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16).
3. CHRIST: We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ, in His eternal existence with the Father in pre-incarnate glory. Regarding His Divine nature, He is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father, the Eternal Word of God, through Whom everything has been created. Regarding His human nature, He is the Incarnate Word of God, born of a virgin through the power of the Holy Spirit. For us and our salvation He became incarnate, lived, suffered, was crucified on a cross under the rule of Pontius Pilate, died and was buried. He rose from the dead according to the Bible, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right side of the Father. He is The Way, The Truth and The Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Only by faith in Christ we obtain forgiveness of sin and eternal life. He is the One and Only Savior and Intercessor, Who intercedes for us, through Whom all will be judged and Whose Kingdom is eternal (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
4. THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the Holy Spirit, the life giving Lord, Who is of the same nature with the Father and the Son, and in the Spirit’s absolute and essential deity. He convinces of sin, of righteousness and of judgement and leads us to repentance and new birth in the likeness of Jesus Christ. The sinner is justified only by God’s grace, through new birth only by faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning blood. The Holy Spirit regenerates, sanctifies, illuminates, comforts and sustains those who believe in Jesus Christ. He guides them in all truth. We worship and glorify Him equally with the Father and the Son.
5. SATAN: We believe that Satan exists as an entirely evil personality, the originator of sin, the father of lies, the arch-enemy of God and man.
6. MAN: We believe that man was divinely created in the image of God; that he sinned, becoming guilty before God by disobeying Him, which resulted in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death and separation from God.
7. SALVATION: We believe that salvation is by the sovereign, electing grace of God; that by the appointment of the Father, Christ voluntarily suffered a vicarious expiatory and propitiatory death; that justification is by faith alone in the all-sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The one called by God shall be preserved and perfected in the image of the Lord.
8. FUTURE: We believe in personal, bodily and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the resurrection of the just and the unjust; in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and in the judgement and eternal punishment of the wicked.
9. THE CHURCH: We believe in the One Holy Universal and Apostolic Church, which is the community of true believers, called out of the world, set apart by the Lord and for the Lord Jesus under His lordship and leadership; that the church is the visible representation of the body of Christ, consisting of all believers of all times, regardless of race or social standing. Under the guidance and discipline of the Holy Spirit the church as Family of Faith exists for worshiping God, building up the believers to preach, teach and share the Gospel, and to propagate the faith for the salvation of the world.
10. SACRAMENTS: We believe that there are only two sacraments for the church regularly observed in the New Testament:
1. Baptism, which is the immersion in water, according to Christ’s command. The water baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is only for true believers, voluntarily and responsibly accepted by them. By faith and baptism, the believer identifies with Jesus Christ in His death, burial and resurrection;
2. The Lord’s Supper, in which the believer partakes bread and wine, symbolizing the Lord’s body and shed blood, proclaiming His death until He come again.
